It’s summer in Seattle, finally, and we’re gearing up to keep you connected to your community. We have a number of easy and fun upcoming opportunities to support local schools like helping source supplies for students. Families typically spend more than $100 on school supplies and some local families just can’t foot that bill. Watch for bins at your company so you can help students in our community can show up for the first day of school ready to learn.

Primaries are August 6th and we know voting is the first thing on your mind as the temperatures reach the 80’s… well maybe not. If you’re instead thinking about camping, hiking, or outdoor festivals, we are here to make your civic engagement easier by taking our pledge to vote. With so many city council candidates running, it’s likely that winners could be decided by just a few votes. Your vote absolutely matters.

Your city is better with you.

Nick, CEO

New Members, Uber and Remitly!

Uber ignites opportunity by setting the world in motion. Good things happen when people can move, whether across town or towards their dreams. Opportunities appear, open up, become reality. What started as a way to tap a button to get a ride has led to billions of moments of human connection as people around the world go all kinds of places in all kinds of ways with the help of our technology.

Remitly is inspired by the sacrifice and courage of their customers. Millions of immigrants around the world make the huge sacrifice of leaving their families behind to live and work in another country. These unsung heroes deliver on their promises to take care of those they love and provide them with upward mobility, improving their quality of life. Remitly works hard to help their hard-earned money stretch farther so more make it to their loved ones safely.
